Kumar Sangakkara quits as Sri Lanka skipper
Kumar Sangakkara, who led Sri Lanka to the finals of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 before losing out to eventual champions India has quit from the skipper's post of the national team. He will however stay as the interim captain for the Test team until someone new is appointed. Meanwhile, he has been appointed as the skipper of the Deccan Chargers for the 2011 season of the Indian Premier League.
